The 4x4 Utility Vehicles which have a tipping body and payload of 500kg can been seen throughout the UK working on various sites and estates.

September 2008 - Buckhurst Win New Contract To Supply 15 New 8 Tonne Excavators:

Buckhurst Plant Hire have recently been awarded the contract to supply 15 new 8 tonne excavators to support services and construction company Carillion PLC, working on the Edinburgh Tram construction project. Buckhurst''s Operations Director, Chris Brown said:

September 2008 - Buckhurst Buys 30 New 12.5 Metre 535-125 Hi-Viz Loadalls:

As part of a 70 machine deal, Buckhurst Plant Hire has purchased 30 new 12.5 metre 535-125 Hi-Viz Loadalls, Several of the machines - which feature a low boom to give visibility, productivity and safety benefits - have already been put to work on one of Scotland''s most prestigious construction projects. They are currently handling building materials in the development of the new Edinburgh Tram Network. Further machines are already on hire as part of Buckhurst''s ongoing commitment to customers throughout the UK. Also included in the order are 30 JCB 531-70 Loadalls and 10 3CX Turbo backhoe loaders.

September 2008 - Buckhurst Supply Bethell Power Services:

After winning a recent contract to supply Bethell Power Services with mini excavators for their new Scottish Power Contract , Buckhurst Plant Hire sourced, purchased and delivered to site 30 new Takeuchi TB014 mini excavators & Indespension Trailers in just 2 weeks.

July 2008 - Gallaghers Buy Two Tractor Winches From Buckhurst Plant Hire:

Buckhurst Plant Hire managing director John Walsh, handed over the two John Deere Tractor Winches to Vince O'connor of Gallagher Limited. Gallaghers recently purchased the two tractor winches from Buckhurst Plant Hire for use on their water and gas contracts.

December 2007 - Buckhurst become sole supplier to JGV Limited:


Buckhurst plant hire have become sole supplier to JGV Limited. In a deal worth excess of £2m over the next 3 years Buckhurst will supply plant and equipment to the utility solution provider on a national basis.
